The Direx v2.0 has some remarkable features and updates, such as:
- Mobile Friendly View
You don’t need a Laptop or Desktop or need to be in the office anymore to take advantage of Direx. As a hospitality provider, you can now access and use Direx from your mobile phone anytime and anywhere.
- New Booking Fee
We have recently made changes to our business model that involve eliminating fees for offline bookings and reducing our fees for online bookings from 3.5% to 0.5%, with a maximum charge per currency. To learn more, please click here.
- Addition of new currencies
Our latest version of Direx, v1.0, now supports six currencies: US Dollars, Nigerian Naira, Kenyan Shilling, Rwanda Franc, Tanzanian Shilling, and Ugandan Shilling. This is a big upgrade from the two currencies offered in v1.0 – the US Dollar and Nigerian Naira.
- Automated Customer Document Upload
As a hospitality business, we recognize the importance of having the necessary documents from your customers to make their experience as smooth as possible. We have automated the process of requesting these documents. With just one click, you can now request as many documents as you need, without having to send multiple emails. You can learn more here.
- Multi-Tier Pricing
In Direx v2.0, you can now create a single booking page to accommodate different customer preferences and pricing for hospitality packages. Gone are the days of having to create multiple booking pages for one person, a group of two, a group of four, and so on. With our new version, you can easily set up different pricing options for each customer type without having to create multiple pages – allowing customers to easily select the option that best fits their needs.
- Improved Data View
The organisation of data is important and as such, we have restructured the way data is projected on the Direx dashboard.
- Payment Integrations
We have now switched to the Bring Your Payment Gateway Model, which allows you to integrate a payment gateway so that all your payments go directly to you instead of us collecting payments on your behalf and remitting them to your account according to our payout schedule. - Billing Management
Due to the alteration in the payment process on Direx, we have stopped collecting booking fees upfront when customers make an online booking. Instead, we will accumulate the fees over a 30-day period and remind you to pay them. To make this easier for you, we have added a billing section to your Direx dashboard where you can view all your transactions and the related details for your monthly Direx fees. - Support Center
We have created an online support center to give our merchants quick and easy access to assistance whenever they need it. This center offers a knowledge base of frequently asked questions and answers, tutorial articles and videos, and 24/7 live chat. Check out the support center here.
